Urybaldi was imported from Switzerland where he earned his approval and a place in the Swiss State Stud. His superior bloodlines include Furioso (sire of Surioso a famous French sire), Alme Z (sire of Galoubet A, I Love You and Jalisco B) and Nepal. His sire Urymate de Ste. Hermelle competed internationally in show jumping to CSIO level successfully. He's a producer of many well-recognized progeny in jumping and dressage, most famous, Urion II - successful at CSIO Posnan 2000. Urybaldi’s dam Atremis is an Elite Mare at the Swiss State Stud.

Urybaldi’s first year of competition was 1995 and he was brilliant…A consistent top 5 finisher at the Spruce Meadows 4/5 year old Jumper division, top 3 finish at Thunderbird Modified Armature Classic and the year end Champion of the CWHBA Alberta Chapter 5/6 year old Jumper Champion.

Urybaldi is a powerful stallion both genetically and physically. His temperament and work ethic is exceptional and these facts are evident in his offspring. Jock is competing brilliantly in the Adult Amateur Hunters, Atticus II owned by Cindy Adams was promising in his first season in 2005 under the coaching of Heather Archer, Mr. Jones who was sold to the US for $20,000, Madison a daughter that is a successful eventer in Alberta, Uriel sold to Montana for Dressage. These offspring show Urybaldi’s diversity and trainability that is much sought after in today’s modern market place.
